This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, personable, and detail-oriented individual looking to support the smooth day-to-day running of a busy secondary school office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing administrative support to senior leadership, teachers, and support staff
  • Answering and directing calls, responding to emails, and greeting visitors
  • Maintaining accurate pupil records using SIMS or similar school management systems
  • Assisting with attendance monitoring and reporting
  • Supporting with school communications, letters, newsletters, and notices
  • Managing and updating school databases and filing systems
  • Coordinating with external agencies and suppliers where required
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a school office or educational setting is essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with SIMS (School Information Management System) is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
  • A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Academics)
