East Midlands Airport connects over 4 million passengers annually with more than 80 destinations across Europe. It is the UK's leading provider of freight services and is part of MAG, the largest UK-owned airport operator group. The airport supports over 6,000 jobs and generates approximately Β£300m annually for the region.
The role involves overseeing a diverse team of Aviation Security Officers (ASOs) within a large-scale, 24/7 operation at East Midlands Airport. You will lead a team of up to 30 ASOs, delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced, regulated environment while balancing operational needs with the well-being of staff and customer service.
The role includes delivering a safe, effective, and compliant security operation across multiple locations, including terminal and airfield security, and collaborating with stakeholders such as DHL and UPS.
What will make you successful in the role?
- Experience in Aviation Security is preferred but not essential.
- Key requirements include experience in leading large, diverse teams, strong leadership, and people management skills.
