We are currently looking for experienced and reliable 1st and 2nd Fix Carpenters to join our construction team on a long-term project at Heathrow Airport. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a prestigious airside development, offering consistent hours, competitive pay, and holiday pay.

Important: As this is an airside position, all applicants must pass a Criminal Record Check and provide a 5-year checkable employment history to obtain an Airside Pass.

Job Details

  • Location: Heathrow Airport (Airside)
  • Pay Rates (PAYE):
  • £24.00/hour – Day shifts
  • £30.00/hour – Night shifts
  • Shift Times:
    • Day: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • Night: 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM
  • Hours: 45 hours per week (paid)
  • Holiday Pay: 5.5 hours accrued for each full week worked
  • Overtime: Any hours worked above 40 hours per week paid at £42.00 per hour
  • Key Responsibilities

    • Carry out all aspects of 1st and 2nd fix carpentry to a high standard
    • Install doors, partitions, skirting, frames, and other joinery components
    • Read and interpret construction drawings and follow site specifications
    • Maintain high levels of health and safety and ensure a clean work area
    • Collaborate with other trades on-site when needed

    Requirements

    • Valid CSCS Card
    • Proven experience in 1st and 2nd fix carpentry on construction sites
    • Own tools and PPE
    • Ability to pass background and employment history checks
