The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Unite People are working with a specialist civils & construction contractor to hire a freelance Site Engineer to work on a project in East Yorkshire.
Working with the civils subcontractor, you will be required to set out and manage QA for the groundworks elements of new build residential sites. The successful Engineer will also undertake supervising of the workforce. This does NOT include full site management and programming, but will include briefings, inductions and monitoring site safety.
Qualifications or Required Experience:
- CSCS Card
- SMSTS
- HND, HNC or Civil Engineering degree is preferred
- Previous experience as an Engineer, setting out of groundworks packages and steel frame packages.
- Ability to work under deadlines, organising and prioritising deadlines to meet construction programme targets
- Understanding of setting out, using EDM/Total station.
- Preferably provide laptop and surveying software
