Are you a hands-on electronics manufacturing expert looking for your next challenge? We are looking for an experienced Product Engineer to join our world-class team, supporting the design, documentation, and production of cutting-edge electronic assemblies.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Translating customer drawings and parts lists into clear, production-ready documentation
  • Creating and updating detailed Assembly Aids (AA's)
  • Reviewing and inputting Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Supporting production teams to resolve technical issues and improve yields
  • Liaising across departments and directly with customers on engineering matters
  • Providing Design for Manufacture (DFM) feedback
  • Supporting quality, sales, and continuous improvement activities

What We're Looking For:

You will need to bring more than just the basics - we are after someone with solid, hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing. You should have practical knowledge of:

  • SMT (Surface Mount Technology)
  • Wave and Robotic Soldering
  • Hand Soldering
  • PCB Inspection & Cleaning
  • Electronic Testing (manual or automated)
  • Cable & Wiring Assembly
  • Box Build Assembly
  • Conformal Coating

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience in an electronic assembly or engineering technician role
  • Able to read technical drawings and understand electronic component specifications
  • Confident creating manufacturing documents using Microsoft Word
  • Experience with MRP stock systems is a plus
  • Engineering qualifications (A-Level, BTEC or higher) are desirable
  • A trade test may be required to confirm practical skills
