About the role:
We are currently inviting internal applications for the role of RBC Co-ordinator, reporting into the Head of Engineering. This is a great progression opportunity for someone to lead the rollout, training, support and auditing of Lean Manufacturing principles, specifically focusing on Asset Care and Basic Condition practices, as part of the Lean Manufacturing strategy at Site.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training programmes to operational teams, focused on embedding Basic Condition practices and Lean principles into daily operations.
- Ensure all employees understand and apply the methodologies associated with Asset Care strategies, including 5S, Autonomous Maintenance, TPM CBM and Root Cause Analysis.
- Act as a subject matter expert in Asset Care and Basic Condition of process and manufacturing equipment, providing hands-on support and advice across all operational functions incl., production, quality, and engineering teams.
- Actively support continuous improvement initiatives, including workshops, coaching, and implementation of Lean tools to enhance performance.
- Engage with all levels of the organisation to ensure buy-in and alignment of improvement initiatives.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Industrial Management, or Operations. Significant relevant experience can be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or above) or TPM methodologies.
- Proven experience delivering training and coaching in technical and operational environments.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on Lean or Asset Care practices i.e. TPM.
- Experience managing apprenticeship or graduate schemes to develop skills and align with organisational needs.
