Are you someone who can lead the development of a new palliative care bereavement service that will deliver a coordinated approach to bereavement care across the Scottish Borders?

NHS Borders Specialist Palliative Care Team and Psychology Service invite applicants for a 22.5hr (0.6 WTE) Band 7 Bereavement Coordinator post, fixed term for 2 years.

This role will work within NHS Borders Specialist Palliative Care Services, based in the Margaret Kerr Unit, offering psychosocial approaches within bereavement care.

We seek someone with a relevant counselling qualification and experience in this area to lead on a caseload.

You will be a key part of our Specialist Palliative Care Service and will work closely with the Palliative Care Psychologist, who will provide oversight and line management.

Please note: the salary quoted is for full-time hours (37 hrs/week). For part-time hours, salary will be pro-rata.
