Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 2pm, Term-time only
South West Norse have an opportunity for an experienced Kitchen Manager to join the team based at East the Water Primary School, on a permanent, part time basis. You will use your skills and experience to deliver an exciting and varied menu that utilises locally sourced and healthy ingredients, delivering an excellent level of customer service for the school.
Providing input into menu planning and costing, you will help us deliver a catering service that provides a nutritional lunchtime meal, leading and directing a small on-site team to ensure preparation is delivered on-time and to high quality standards.
Your Experience:
- Experience leading a busy kitchen environment, capable of organising catering staff as well as being hands-on with meal preparation and cooking
- Knowledge of menu development and costing, with a focus on promoting healthy and nutritious meals
- A relevant qualification in Food Hygiene, with experience applying your knowledge within a catering environment
