About us: Part of London and Regional hotels, The Lensbury Resort is located on the banks of the River Thames at Teddington and is home to an exclusive leisure club, with a 155 bedroom hotel, 27 meeting and event spaces, restaurant, bar, and 25 acres of gardens and 2 elite sport pitches.
The Role: As an integral part of the Meetings and Events Sales team, the Meeting and Social Event Coordinator will be a key point of contact for all our social events, from weddings to celebrations of life, as well as assisting the Planning team with corporate meetings. You will be supporting the organisation of first-class events, helping to maintain The Lensbury's reputation as a leading venue for memorable events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing specialist events including Weddings, Christmas functions, and corporate planning of events throughout the year.
- Managing event reservations and liaising with organisers to ensure full information is available.
- Promoting and maximising the use of the Conference and Function Rooms.
- Ensuring a good knowledge of both Hospitality and Events special events and sales initiatives to apply agreed criteria to booking requests.
- Providing all visitors to The Lensbury with a warm and efficient welcome and support before and during events, developing good working relationships with customers.
- Working closely with all other departments within The Lensbury and ensuring they have all the necessary information and documentation to meet customer requirements.
- Providing Reception cover when required, and carrying out other duties as identified.
- Attending functions to ensure smooth running of the events.

- Shift pattern flexibility - part-time role - Sunday 09.00 - 17.30 shift required to cover Conference Centre Reception.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to enhance the service standards throughout the organisation.
- Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office and Opera Cloud.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Terms & Conditions:
