JOB DESCRIPTION

I am a 13 year old boy living with my mum and sister in Maerdy. I have high functioning Autism. I do not like raised voices and too many people. Everything goes in my mouth. I have some communication problems, but I am starting to learn to put sentences together. I can have tantrums and can bite, scream and shout. When I am like this, a PA needs to remain calm and patient with me. I do not have any sense of danger and can run off. I am not toilet trained as of yet. I am a happy and affectionate young boy who sometimes enjoys hugs. I enjoy my iPad, travelling on buses, walking, the park, bouncy castles, and trampolines.

PLACE OF WORK & PURPOSE OF THE JOB

At home and out in the community. 2:1 support.

HOURS OF WORK

3 hours per week, which are flexible to be discussed at interview. 2:1 support (1.5 hours per PA).

RATE OF PAY

Meets NLW.
