Derby College Group (DCG) are recruiting for several Learning Support Assistants to join our Student Experience and Pastoral team based at our beautiful rural Broomfield Hall Campus.

The Opportunity

Our students are at the heart of our person-centred approach, and within this role you’ll be providing a range of support services both in and outside the classroom to students who have inclusion and support needs. The support that you provide enables these students to achieve and progress. You’ll also assist certain students with personal care if required.

About you

If you’re positive, motivated, eager to learn new skills, and a role model, we’d love to hear from you! You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships. We value practical problem solving and initiative, aiming to make our students’ world a little better each day. You should be keen to support students in accessing all aspects of the curriculum. If you possess a specialist qualification such as supporting students with learning difficulties/disabilities or equivalent, that’s a plus, but if not, we will support you to achieve this qualification!
