Hale Country Club & Spa is recruiting for a full-time Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team. We are looking for individuals with a passion for food and beverage, ready to deliver exceptional service and enhance the dining experience for our esteemed members and guests. As a Food & Beverage Assistant you’ll:
- Work in all areas of Food & Beverage, including Bar, Restaurant, and Outdoor Terrace.
- Welcome members and guests in a polite and friendly manner.
- Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service.
- Prepare setups for tables.
- Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Up-sell with the latest departmental incentives.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Ensure cleanliness of work areas.
- Comply with club security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
- Comply with local licensing laws.
- Be environmentally aware.
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
What Skills and Experience do I need for this role?
- Ideally, 1 year of experience working in a hospitality environment
- Flexibility in availability and adapting to shift patterns as needed
- Enthusiasm for working in a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high standard of service
- Strong team-working skills, contributing to collaborative success
- Self-motivation, with the ability to work proactively and independently when needed
- Good people skills, building positive relationships with customers and colleagues
