Our client is a market-leading organiser of public sector conferences, summits, and workshops, bringing together government leaders, policy experts, and industry innovators to tackle major issues and drive positive change across the UK. As their event portfolio grows, they are now seeking a motivated and proactive Sponsorship Sales Executive to join their high-performing team and play a key role in driving sponsorship revenue. Sponsorship Sales Executive – Role Overview: As a Sponsorship Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating revenue through strategic sponsorship sales. You’ll engage with private sector businesses, NGOs, and public sector partners to create mutually beneficial sponsorship opportunities aligned with topical public sector events. Key Responsibilities of the Sponsorship Sales Executive: * Identify, prospect, and secure new sponsors for conferences, summits, and other public sector events. * Build strong relationships with private sector organisations and decision-makers across relevant industries. * Tailor sponsorship proposals and packages to meet the objectives of sponsors while aligning with event goals. * Deliver engaging sales presentations that clearly demonstrate ROI and value. * Collaborate with the events and marketing teams to develop innovative sponsorship offerings. * Consistently achieve and exceed sponsorship sales targets and KPIs. * Maintain accurate CRM records, track pipeline activity, and report revenue performance. * Stay updated on public sector trends, government initiatives, and industry shifts to uncover new opportunities. * Provide ongoing support and excellent service to sponsors throughout the event lifecycle. Ideal Sponsorship Sales Executive Profile: * Proven track record in sponsorship sales, B2B sales, or similar revenue-generating roles. * Strong ability to identify leads, pitch effectively, and close deals. * Confident communicator with excellent presentation and negotiation skills. * Results-driven, self-motivated, and resilient. * Organised and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines. * Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Experience selling into the public or not-for-profit sector is advantageous but not essential.
