This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Project Manager to join a well-established consultancy. You will work on commercial buildings, supporting the Property Team in delivering high-quality commercial developments. The role combines elements of Surveying and Project Management, suited for a well-rounded construction professional with a background in building surveying, construction management, or construction consultancy. You will have the unique opportunity to influence design decisions throughout the construction process. Projects are mainly within the Leisure and Hospitality sector.
Responsibilities:
- Complete building surveys and advise on design, construction, repair, and refurbishment.
- Establish project briefs, develop designs and specifications, undertake tendering processes, and oversee the appointment of designers and contractors.
- Design and supervise works using recognized building contracts and current technical standards.
- Conduct project inspections at key stages.
- Manage projects ranging from £10k to £500k.
