We have a fantastic opportunity for a Construction Project Manager to join the team on a full time, two-year fixed term basis. This role is remote working with regular travel.
As the Construction Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving and delivering the Campus Modernisation Programme across the UK region. Reporting directly into the Modernisation Programme Manager, you will display good management and leadership skills, be qualified and have a strong background in project delivery of high value multi disciplined CAT A and B fit outs. You integrate all mechanical, electrical and building services asset data and equipment to drive initiatives from the initial concept and design stage through to operational handover, having responsibility for the strategic technical planning and management of all critical building assets, lifecycles and compliance.

- Tertiary qualifications and/or 5+ years’ experience in a Project Manager role.
- Management qualification such as Prince2 APM, MSP or equivalent.

- Proven experience working effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:
- Project Delivery: You will manage the delivery of all daily tasks and activities ensuring all project requirements are met within agreed timescales, budget and quality of service & standard.
- You will ensure that the project management system has accurate and comprehensive records that are aligned to processes, lifecycle, regulations, governance and quality assurance.
- You will provide effective cost control by monitoring spends against allocations, offering monthly insights for efficiencies, risks and variations.
- You will measure, manage and report supplier performance against agreed contractual agreements and design to ensure effective, safe and compliant delivery throughout the project.
- You will hold weekly project meetings, producing high level progress reports and status.
- You will maintain regular and effective communication with site colleagues, support functions and senior stakeholders.
- You will ensure the Health & Safety management system and processes are fully compliant throughout the term of the project and at the forefront of all decision making.
- You will manage and deploy contractors and consultants when required.
- You will proactively identify potential risks and issues, with mitigation strategies in place that address them.
- You must provide transparent project documentation and library, which is auditable and inspection ready for the DofE.
- Technical: You will develop and lead all UK Mechanical, Electrical and building services design specifications.
- You will develop and produce a critical asset standardisation plan that is supported by design specifications, offering intelligent and efficient premises with cost effective solutions.
- You will develop a technical lifecycle improvement plan and maintenance schedules to improve reliability, cost and energy reduction through Capex investments for the region.
- You will carry out routine quality performance checks on contractor delivery against contractual obligations, integrating contractor processes, procedures and standards of work.
- You will lead the reduction of carbon emissions, analysing and offering insights to meet our ESOS commitment.
