The Company

Our client is an independent, well-established and international Lloyd's Broker, with multiple offices across the globe and their head office based in the heart of the city. Specialising in various Non-Marine and Marine business classes, they provide innovative insurance and reinsurance solutions to their global partners. They are now seeking an experienced Technical Marine Account Handler within their successful, dynamic and stable Marine Division.

Role Duties:

  • Creating timely and accurate MRC Slips and Endorsements
  • Liaising with clients and markets, providing a high level of service
  • Dealing with queries and enquiries in a professional manner
  • Providing full back-up support to Brokers
  • Ensuring all internal record systems and databases are maintained accordingly
  • Assisting with providing technical support across all placement activities
  • Pro-actively building and maintaining long-standing relationships with clients/retail broker partners and markets

About You:

  • 5 years of experience in working for a Lloyd's Broker in a Technical Marine role essential
  • Competent in producing client and market documentation (MRC Slips and Endorsements)
  • A strong knowledge of Marine Risks
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail skills
