The UK Finance Apprenticeship Programme is ideally suited to ambitious school-leavers who are seeking to pursue a career in finance and accounting by completing a L7 apprenticeship with the ICAEW. This will set you well on your way towards becoming a fully qualified chartered accountant (ACA).
Based in our offices in the City of London, the apprenticeship offers an exciting three-year structured programme of practical work experience within our finance department, coupled with a closely monitored and structured programme of tuition provided by a top firm of external tutors. The training will consist of courses at the tutorsβ offices, private study, regular assessments, as well as on the job training. Working alongside our experienced colleagues, the programme will enable you to develop the required knowledge, skills and behaviours in order to qualify as an Accountancy Professional.
Some Key Responsibilities
- Helping prepare the budget packs and associated documentation including the budget plan.
- Assisting with the preparation and analysis of monthly management information.
- Contributing to the documentation and improvement of our finance processes and procedures.
- Preparing reconciliations and investigating and understanding differences in respect of accounting-related information.
