Martis Search are representing a London based Investment Bank to hire a brand new “Compliance Manager” for their brand new “Futures & Options Clearing” business launch. The role reports into their Head of Compliance in their London office.
Your role will be to help start-up, design, build and then manage all Futures Compliance processes from scratch. The existing company have a proven pedigree in other asset classes, are a global bank with a solid balance sheet and ambitious plans to grow out their Futures & Options trading desks in London.
Our client is looking for someone with extensive Futures & Options Compliance experience (ideally 10-years’ experience minimum), either as a Senior Futures & Options Compliance Manager who is looking for a new and exciting opportunity to build something from scratch. You must be of “graduate calibre” have strong working knowledge of Futures & Options/ ETD Compliance, including Compliance Reporting, Trade Surveillance, or Regulatory Operations, with a good understanding of the FCA Handbook and Market Abuse Regulations.
Due to the size of the team from the start, the role will be both hands-on and strategic, with likelihood you will have to then hire and manage a team of Futures Compliance professionals in the London office. The company offer a hybrid mix of “working-from-home” and also in-the-office, so you get the best of both worlds.
