Highams is excited to commence the second phase of our exclusive recruitment for Tokio Marine HCC, focusing on assembling a dedicated team of Change Managers for Business Readiness. We have successfully filled the Senior role and are now looking for two further Business Readiness Managers to join the team.
Job title: Change Manager – Business Readiness x 2 (Mid level)

Reporting to: Change Management Practice Lead
Position type: 35 hrs p/w (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home)

Job Purpose:
This role will work within the TMHCCI Enterprise Change team, reporting to the Change Management Practice Lead. The team’s purpose is to build and mature all aspects of our Change Management practice (including business readiness and acceptance, stakeholder engagement and communication, BAU adoption, training, UAT, pre-cutover activity and through post go-live support). At its core, the role provides assurance that our colleagues are ready to accept and leverage benefits from project delivery, leading to sustainable change.
The successful candidate will have significant hands-on Change Management experience in a diversity of projects and programmes, with a multitude of impacted stakeholders (BAU internal resources to third party clients). The nature of the work will be a mix of hands on delivery within projects and consultative support, as directed by the Practice Lead.
There will also be significant opportunities to help mature TMHCCI’s Change Management approach, both within the Enterprise Change team, but also more widely within the whole organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Change Management Practice lead in defining/refining the Change Management Framework.
- Partnering with project managers, business leaders and Sponsors, to ensure that Change Management is built into thinking, planning and delivery.
- Working with project managers to identify change impacts, highlighting risks/constraints/dependencies to project success.
- Creating a detailed understanding of all the stakeholders impacted by specific change.
- Working with project and business teams to identify and manage anticipated resistance to change. Facilitate the transition to new ways of working.
- Agree and assure the Business Readiness approach with project and business teams, leveraging our Business Readiness Framework.
- Provide support with regards to Business Readiness elements, for example training approach, communication plan, UAT, post-go-live activities.
- Education, awareness and training around Change Management to the change team and across the business through formal and informal learning activities, such as lunch and learn or e-learning modules
Skills and Experience Specification:
Essential:
- Proven experience within Change Management, and particularly Business Readiness activities, within projects and organisations, driving positive demonstrable outcomes.
- Confident and articulate when engaging business and projects teams, both verbally and in writing.
- Able to influence others and achieve common goals. Confident managing conflicts.
- Able to think analytically and strategically.
- Capable of working well as part of a team as well as independently, coaching and supporting project team members as needed.
- Able to multitask and capable of simultaneously supporting multiple projects with different deadlines.
- Proficient using Microsoft 365 apps, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint (or equivalent).
Desirable:
- Financial Services experience or regulated environment
- Strong working knowledge in diverse areas of Change Management (for ex. communication and training).
- Relevant Change Management qualifications such as Prosci and practical experience of applying change frameworks
