The predicted salary is between 25864 - 28400 £ per year.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced EFL and EAP tutors to join Manchester Metropolitan University's Language Centre and teach on our summer 2025 pre-sessional programmes. This year there will be a 5-week and 10-week pre-sessional English programme. Both programmes will have an online and on-campus version.
Successful applicants will work alongside friendly permanent tutors, teaching highly motivated students who are keen to develop their English language and academic literacy skills with you. For tutors new to EAP, training and support will be provided through mentoring, regular team meetings, and a detailed pre-course induction.
Successful applicants will be expected to complete teaching, assessment & feedback, administration and pastoral duties to a high standard to ensure that the students on the programme receive the best possible student experience and outcomes.
This role is grade 6 on the Manchester Metropolitan University single pay spine, which is £30,805 to £34,132 per annum (pro rata).
- 10-week – from 16th June to 5th September
- 5-week – from 21st July to 29th August
