Model Britain is an ambitious, world-class project bringing the United Kingdom’s most iconic landmarks to life in a breathtaking miniature world. As we move into the next phase of development, we’re seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our operations and help drive the future of this groundbreaking tourist attraction.
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to join an exciting startup at the forefront of the tourism and entertainment sectors. Initially, this will be a non-salaried position, where you will build sweat equity while shaping the operational strategy for Model Britain. The role will begin with a couple of days per month, with a view to transitioning to full-time as the project scales.
As the COO, you will:
- Lead and execute operational strategy to ensure seamless day-to-day management.
- Spearhead fundraising efforts, identifying and securing investors and strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with the executive team to grow and refine Model Britain’s vision.
- Help shape the direction of the business, ensuring alignment with our long-term goals.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in startups, particularly in fundraising and scaling operations.
- A strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a track record of building and managing teams.
