Join a leading investment banking team in London, covering Energy & Infrastructure M&A. The team has a proven track record in the UK and Europe, advising world-class businesses of all sizes within the mid-market, with a particular expertise in Power Generation and Transmission, Clean Energy Technology, Infrastructure and Electric Vehicles. Thanks to a busy pipeline and lots of deal flow, our client is looking to hire another Analyst (Analyst 2 or Analyst 3 level) to jump in and make an impact. You’ll be part of a high-performing team working on exciting M&A transactions.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Creating materials that tell the story – You’ll help put together pitch books, marketing materials, RFP responses, teasers, and other materials that get deals moving.
  • Crunching the numbers – Building financial models (DCF, LBO, Merger models) to support business valuations. You’ll be digging into financial statements and valuation metrics to help assess transactions.
  • Becoming a sector expert – Dive deep into infrastructure, energy, renewables, and transport by researching companies, sectors, and trends.
  • Supporting deals from start to finish – Help manage everything from NDAs and mandate letters to due diligence, marketing materials, valuation and share purchase agreements.

What we’re looking for:

  • You’ve already got M&A experience from an investment bank, boutique advisory firm, 'Big 4' Accounting firm in the UK. If coming from one of the Big 4, Transactions Services (FDD experience) covering Energy, Infra or Renewables is fine.
  • ACA Qualified + Undergraduate degree (additional qualifications may be advantageous, but not required).
  • You’ve worked on (or are passionate about) energy, renewables, infrastructure, or transport deals.
  • You’re excel literate and confident working with financial models – operational, accounting, debt, credit metrics, valuations – you know the drill.
  • You’re sharp, driven, and excited about the infrastructure space.
  • You understand how to model valuations like IRR, FCFE, LBO, DCF, comps – and can apply these to real-world transactions.
  • You have an understanding of how buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions differ.
