We’re looking for a multidisciplinary Unreal Engine Artist / Developer to help bring expressive, real-time experiences to life — blending technical precision with strong visual sensibility.
In this role, you’ll sit at the intersection of design, technology, and storytelling. You’ll work closely with creatives, technologists, and producers to develop high-fidelity, real-time environments and interactive systems that power installations, immersive spaces, and digital experiences.
From elegant visualisation to interaction logic, you’ll help craft beautiful, responsive worlds that feel alive and emotionally resonant. Whether your strength lies more in procedural shaders, Blueprint logic, lighting design, or scene composition — this role offers space to specialise, collaborate, and grow.
Key Responsibilities- Build expressive, real-time experiences using Unreal Engine 5 — from dynamic environments to interactive installations.
- Design and implement visual systems: real-time lighting, materials, motion, and cinematic transitions.
- Work across Blueprints and/or C++ to bring interactive elements to life — from subtle gestures to complex behaviours.
- Optimise for performance without sacrificing fidelity — whether on high-end rigs, touchscreens, or large-scale outputs.
- Collaborate with designers, 3D artists, and engineers to ensure a strong visual identity across all touch points.
- Translate technical data or abstract inputs into rich, visual storytelling elements.
- Prototype tools and pipelines to support iteration and efficiency across the team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Unreal Engine features and workflows, and bring new ideas to the table.
- Strong experience with Unreal Engine 5, including Blueprint scripting (C++ knowledge is a bonus).
- Confident working with visual development: composition, lighting, mood, post-processing, and animation.
- Experience crafting interactive or immersive experiences — from concept to final delivery.
- Comfortable blending technical thinking with artistic sensibility: whether building shaders, particle systems (Niagara), or procedural animations.
- Experience working with real-time data, motion triggers, or live inputs (e.g., JSON, LiveLink) is a bonus.
- Strong communication skills, especially when collaborating across disciplines (design, dev, production).
- Able to work both independently and as part of a tight-knit, agile team.
- Unreal Engine 5 (Blueprints, Material Editor, Niagara, Sequencer)
- 3D tools: Blender, Houdini, Cinema 4D
- Shader and material authoring (PBR and stylised)
- Familiarity with Python or automation tools (a plus)
