This role provides a diverse opportunity to handle a broad range of property disputes, including complex, high-net-worth cases, while working with clients both locally and nationally.
This firm provides strong support, a competitive salary, and a benefits package that includes Private Medical Cover. It's an outstanding opportunity for a Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' experience in property litigation to join a highly regarded team of 2.
Key responsibilities:- Manage a diverse caseload with a focus on property litigation matters, but with the ability to deal with mainstream contract disputes as required.
- Manage commercial and landlord and tenant litigation cases, to include, in particular, lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 and dilapidation claims.
- Manage residential possession proceedings with a full understanding of relevant housing law and statutory regulations.
- Handle disputes between adjoining owners (trespass and nuisance claims, boundary disputes and the enforcement of restrictive covenants) whilst demonstrating a sensitivity to preserving good relationships between neighbours.
- Advise on long residential leases.
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 2 years’ experience in property litigation law.
- Experience in landlord and tenant disputes, both residential and commercial is essential.
- Experience in handling disputes between adjoining owners is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to build strong client relationships and work empathetically with individuals during sensitive times.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
