Job Description
Front End Developers with strong knowledge around Vue.js are wanted by an established FinTech software company, who are undertaking a large digital transformation into AI and Chat GPT.
I have worked alongside this company for the past eight years and they're great, they have created a team of people who are passionate about tech and best practises. Allowing their people the time and freedom to implement best practises. They have a culture of learning and have an unwritten rule that if you find a course, certification, meet-up, book etc.. that will make you a better Developer, they will always find funding for that.
This company likes to give responsibility out, so you will be involved in decision making on tech / projects and having a real influence on the product. The vast amount of work is Vue.js based. However, as they are still young, you’ll be able to make a case for using any technology you think would help.
Technical Overview:
- Hands-on skills with JavaScript, Vue.js, Vue3
- The ability to implement features without depending on frameworks.
- Experience measuring and optimising the performance of web applications.
- Automated UI testing experience.
- An understanding of version control, debugging techniques and testing processes, NPM packages and frontend dev tools.
- TypeScript (Bonus)
- Interaction with REST API’s (Bonus)
The successful Front End Developer will earn up to £70,000 and in addition there are exceptional benefits which come as part of the overall package including: 15% Bonus, 8% Pension contribution, training fund, weekly team lunches, travel loans and numerous soft leisurely benefits.
The team tends to come together 2 days a week for some collaboration, in their Central London offices.
