THE BUSINESS
Westray Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Fabricator to work for our client in the South Tyneside area. This role enables the successful Fabricator to join a forward-thinking organisation that is growing rapidly through acquisition and expanding into new markets.
THE ROLE
- Fabricating components using various metals, including stainless steel and aluminium.
- Interpreting and working from engineering drawings with precision.
- Handling materials such as sections, plates, laser-cut, and machined components.
- Performing quality checks to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Collaborating with production and engineering teams to maintain efficient workflows.
- Following safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
THE PERSON
- You will be physically fit, with the ability to lift and handle heavy materials.
- Must be a time-served fabricator.
- Flexible to work shifts and overtime to meet business demands.
- Hold a full clean driving license.
- Comfortable working alone once induction/training is complete.
