THE BUSINESS

Westray Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Fabricator to work for our client in the South Tyneside area. This role enables the successful Fabricator to join a forward-thinking organisation that is growing rapidly through acquisition and expanding into new markets.

THE ROLE

  • Fabricating components using various metals, including stainless steel and aluminium.
  • Interpreting and working from engineering drawings with precision.
  • Handling materials such as sections, plates, laser-cut, and machined components.
  • Performing quality checks to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Collaborating with production and engineering teams to maintain efficient workflows.
  • Following safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.

THE PERSON

  • You will be physically fit, with the ability to lift and handle heavy materials.
  • Must be a time-served fabricator.
  • Flexible to work shifts and overtime to meet business demands.
  • Hold a full clean driving license.
  • Comfortable working alone once induction/training is complete.
