Would you like to make a difference and work for a charity? Novalis Trust is a charity that supports children and adults with Neurodevelopmental Difficulties and other learning needs. The Senior Adult Support Worker role is based at Paradise House, a residential home for people aged 18-65.
Responsibilities for this role:
- Working collaboratively and leading a small team of staff supporting and enabling the people who live at Paradise House to live their best lives.
- Supporting and embedding our vision and values at Paradise House.
- Establishing key support relationships with the people living at Paradise House.
- Giving them the care, guidance and support they need to thrive.
- Fun and laughter whilst taking part in many different activities for leisure and skills development.
Benefits for this role include:
- Excellent training opportunities including a Level 4 Certificate in Trauma Informed Care.
- From £13.13 per hour and £79 sleep in rate which equates to an average salary of £36,891.92 per year.
- Fixed 2-week rota of 42 hours and 2 sleep in shifts per week.
- Staff supported in a community setting with good team relationships.
- Equivalent of 5.6 weeks annual leave per year pro rata.
