We’re recruiting for a Third Party Dealing Manager to manage Client Order Management activities for the firm’s Asset Management institutional client base. You will be supporting the execution of core activities in a changing and dynamic environment, ensuring the provision of a superlative service which supports and stays aligned with operational and strategic goals, with an emphasis on reliability and compliance as the foundation of all operational efforts.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing and maintaining effective Client and Service Provider relationships, working closely with relevant parties to ensure service provision supports team’s objectives/goals.
  • Managing the resolution of day-to-day operational issues or errors and resolve anomalies to ensure high-level of customer service and accurate transactions.
  • Taking ownership, designing and enhancing operational processes in conjunction with appropriate systems to support functional processing. Participation in change initiatives representing the needs of the department.
  • Proactively identify process improvements, service and risks to ensure client service is robust to meet capacity and stakeholder requirements.
  • Robust support and implementation of projects/initiatives.
  • Continuously review of team procedures, policies, and systems. Recommend and lead the creation and automation of operational processes and procedures to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining procedure manuals, task lists and Risk Maps as necessary and ensure procedural enhancements are implemented and communicated to team members as required.
  • Continuously review controls to ensure in line with current business processes.
  • Maintaining detailed knowledge of fund platform operation processes and system.
  • Evaluating the system integrity to ensure its robust and trusted in order to support the departments objectives to enable an efficient operational service delivery in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Examining and evaluating departmental processes and procedures to ensure client service is maintained by prioritising work input/output.

Qualifications:

  • Strong track record in managing/leading high risk and transactional based functions.
  • Previous financial services exposure, ideally in an operational environment.
  • Have a strong understanding of fund management and investment operations processes.
  • Strong ability to follow policies and procedures with ability to manage risk.
  • Microsoft Excel intermediate to advanced level.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally, with an ability to successfully articulate issues clearly and logically.
  • A proven track record of being flexible, adaptable, and able to multi-task in a fast paced and changeable environment.
