I'm working with a top-tier international law firm seeking a Litigation Case Manager to join its growing Alternative Legal Services (ALS) function in London. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing legal team that sits at the heart of delivering complex High Court litigation for major corporate and financial clients.
Overview: You'll be embedded within the Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations team, supporting major High Court cases and taking a leading role in hearing logistics, procedural preparation, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical matter expert for High Court hearings, managing all logistical and procedural aspects.
- Oversee filings, disclosure, and hearing prep alongside lawyers and other ALS team members.
- Liaise with third-party providers (e.g., eDiscovery, hearing tech), including rate negotiation and tech setup.
- Develop best practice tools and templates for consistency and efficiency across the litigation group.
- Contribute to cross-team collaboration across innovation, LegalTech and project management.
Requirements:
- Qualified Lawyer (England & Wales) with at least 3 years of High Court litigation and hearing management experience.
- Strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and calmness under pressure.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse legal and operational teams.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced litigation environments and occasionally outside core hours when hearings demand.
