The predicted salary is between 25000 - 35000 £ per year.
The ADR Driver is required to operate any Company vehicle for which they are suitably qualified to undertake. As the duties of this post constitute those of a professional driver, all operation of Company vehicles must be undertaken in a safe manner and fully compliant with all relative law and legislation. In addition, this position will undertake duties associated with that of an operator.
More about the role:
- Operating Company vehicles including HGV & ADR class vehicles or any other vehicle for which you are suitably qualified to operate and full responsibility for ensuring all vehicle checks are undertaken prior to commencing any works.
- Compliance with tachograph regulations and reporting in the required manner.
- Reporting any vehicle defects to supervision as soon as identified. You will be required to complete vehicle defect report in such circumstances.
- Ensuring all ADR vehicles display appropriate placards during transportation and any time stationary. This position holds full responsibility for ensuring they are in possession of the correct written instruction document referring to the materials being transported (TREM card).
- Ensure all uplifting and offloading of product and materials is undertaken in the correct and compliant manner with high regard for health and safety and correct working practices ensuring correct PPE worn for the task.
- Liaison with customers on site to discuss ongoing works and further services of the Company.
- Completion of all works paperwork and submission in a timely manner to divisional supervision.
- Liaison with supervision regarding all works and recommending improvements of possible opportunities.
- Polite and approachable at customer sites.
- Aiding and supporting the team where needed.
- Must be confident and able to carry out lone working and using initiative; particularly on the basis that the role is standby requiring much of the work to be outside of regular business hours.
- Any other duties for which you are qualified for and capable of undertaking.
