They are now seeking a high-calibre Senior Accounts Administrator to take ownership of core accounting functions and provide leadership within their busy accounts team in Leeds. This is an exciting senior-level opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and is eager to contribute to the continued success of a leading agency.
As a Senior Accounts Administrator, you will play a crucial role within a fast-paced and expanding accounts team, overseeing the day-to-day accounting for growing residential and commercial property portfolios. In addition to hands-on accounts administration, you will take full ownership of key and complex client accounts, serving as the main point of contact for several important residential and commercial clients. This role also involves onboarding new developments, resolving accounting discrepancies, and may include line management responsibilities for Accounts Administrators.
The Package:
- Basic salary £27k - £30k (D.O.E)
- Full-time, 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), with flexibility to offer additional leave for the right candidate, plus extra days often given over Christmas

The Role:
- Perform hands-on accounts administration duties as a key Senior Accounts Administrator
- Act as the primary accounts contact for key residential and commercial clients, supporting client management and relationship maintenance
- Take ownership and maintain knowledge of accounts systems and processes
- Manage accounting responsibilities for complex commercial and residential portfolio clients
- Liaise with fee earners to ensure smooth operation of service charge and residential management cycles
- Manage arrears reporting and debt chasing alongside the Credit Control Manager
- Prepare HMRC returns and other relevant financial reports
The Person:
- Strong knowledge and experience with double-entry accounting and relevant software
- Familiarity with property market and related accounting practices preferred but not essential
- Previous line management experience advantageous but not mandatory
- Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable in a small firm where all levels, including SLT, are hands-on
- Experience in a similar senior accounts administration or property accounting role strongly encouraged
