Our client is a market leader who is looking for a Salesforce DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in version control, release management, and CI/CD automation to play a critical role in maintaining the integrity, stability, and efficiency of their Salesforce environments.

The role:

  • Manage and optimise version control processes using Git for day-to-day development workflows.
  • Create and maintain release branches to support structured, reliable deployment processes.
  • Execute advanced Git operations such as merges, rebases, and cherry-picks across branches.
  • Resolve merge conflicts efficiently and ensure a clean, traceable commit history.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ensuring automated, reliable deployments across multiple environments.
  • Support deployment strategies using Git-based approaches.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues quickly and effectively.
  • Provide hands-on support to the development team by working on sprint tickets as needed.

About you:

  • Proven proficiency in Git workflows, including advanced operations.
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools for automated deployments.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce, including release management and deployment processes.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, delivery tools, and deployment automation.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall.
  • Working knowledge of the SDLC and APEX development.
  • Solid understanding of application, system, and Salesforce architecture.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot deployment issues effectively.
