An outstanding opportunity in a highly respected boutique Chartered Independent firm with a longstanding client base of private clients and their families.
You would be providing full paraplanning support to three/four advisers with a growing book of clients, with a focus on efficiency, professionalism, quality, and accuracy. Main responsibilities will include:
- Bespoke Suitability Reports for UHNW cases
- Cash Flow Modelling
- Undertaking research within the market for specific financial products and investment opportunities relevant to the client’s risk profile
- Preparation of annual reviews with clients
You must be technically competent across various products such as pensions, investments, IHT, and protection. You will have the opportunity to be involved in ad-hoc projects, implementing and improving processes and playing a key part in shaping the processes.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years paraplanning experience, excellent attention to detail and great communication skills. You will be asked to mentor more junior members in the team and work on complex and technical paraplanning cases, so you must enjoy a challenge and work in a collaborative manner.
Essentially, you must possess at least three years in a similar role, hold the level 4 diploma in regulated Financial Planning and ideally be close to or hold chartered status. Your experience must be gained in the independent sector and you will possess good technical financial and personal tax knowledge and experience of complex report writing and conducting whole-of-market product research.
