Design Studio Assistant

How will you contribute to Radley?
The Design Studio Assistant, known internally as Studio Assistant, will play a vital role in ensuring the Design Studio operates smoothly and efficiently. A highly enthusiastic and organised individual with wide ranging, organisational skills.
The Studio Assistant is responsible for the organisation of the studio and supports the Design Team with business needs, problem solving and developing ways of working.
Role and Responsibilities
- Uphold the organization and tidiness of the design studio, creating an inspiring and efficient workspace and ensuring working space is tidy and fit for purpose
- Work closely with the Design & Product Development teams on requirements for the collections
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure all product is in house & available for the range selections, and provide updates to the teams
- Track & locate missing samples required for key deadlines
- Coordinate the dispatch of parcels for the team, ensuring timely delivery and tracking
- Support the Design team with necessary paper & design work
- Responsible for generating & updating cribs
- Captures all range changes & issue out updated cribs to the wider business
- Be seen as the go to person for design sample & crib queries
- Liaise with internal teams where necessary across departments such as marketing and wholesale
- Proactive in finding solutions & improving processes
- Responsible for archiving previous collections
- In charge of organising & co-ordinating business trips; travel documents & trip schedules
- Responsible for collating sample sale products
- Prepare Sourcing Packs to send to suppliers
- Conduct regular competitor shops and prepare trend reports to keep the team informed of the latest industry trends and innovations
- Prepare meeting rooms for supplier & team gatherings ensuring they are set up appropriately and equipped with necessary materials & refreshments
Skills
- Proactive and hardworking individual with a genuine interest in the fashion industry
- Possess a can-do attitude and a willingness to take initiative in tackling tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with team members and external contacts
- Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Multi tasker with flexible and adaptable mindset
- Adobe Illustrator skills are desirable but not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate.
