ABOUT THE ROLE
We are on the search for an organised and proactive Ecom Fulfilment Assistant Manager to play an integral part in our Supply Chain team. This is a vital role in managing the despatch process for eCommerce and corporate orders, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries to our customers, and providing excellent service throughout the order fulfilment process. With a huge focus on planning for our peak despatch period in the run up to Christmas you will support in refining processes to improve efficiencies. We are looking for a self-starter who can work autonomously to tight deadlines with a keen eye for detail, juggling multiple priorities and keeping calm under pressure in a high-paced environment. This role is full time, 40 hours and based at the Daylesford Farm, Gloucestershire. Salary £34,000-£36,000 per annum, based on experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working closely with our 3PL (third-party logistics) warehouse to ensure seamless processing and delivery of orders; despatched to the expected high standard of our packing specifications.
- Overseeing the demand planning of any fresh stock required for despatch, adhering to relevant cut off times and deadlines.
- Working with the eCommerce web and corporate sales teams to build longer term volumes for Daylesford & Bamford which will allow our 3PL to plan resource effectively.
- Managing the Ecommerce & Corporate fulfilment team, ensuring cover in all areas in cases of annual leave or absence.
- Ecommerce and corporate stock holding at our warehouse by managing auto replenish to ensure maximum fulfilment and minimum wastage.
- Ensuring the safe delivery of all despatches with the tracking of Ecom & corporate orders on our courier's portal.
- Collaborating with our account manager to ensure claims are raised on damaged stock or missing parcels where relevant.
- Liaising with the Corporate Sales, Ecom and Stock Planning teams to ensure that communication and the flow of information is clear and concise.
- Monitor the efficiency of 3PL E-commerce and Corporate dispatch operations through key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Working with the 3PL warehouse and inventory team to ensure accurate Ecom & Corporate stock levels, monitor and analyse inventory movements to initiate process improvements and drive efficiencies and cost savings.
