We’re partnered with one of the UK’s most ambitious and fast-scaling EV charging providers, and they’re now looking to appoint a strategic Head of Network to lead the performance, growth, and optimisation of their national charging estate. This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role within a future-facing business that’s making a tangible impact on the UK’s journey to net zero.

Role Overview:

As Head of Network, you will take full ownership of the commercial and operational performance of the EV charging network. You'll be responsible for driving uptime, availability, utilisation, and customer experience—while also shaping long-term strategy, tech partnerships, and service improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end network operations across uptime, maintenance, and performance
  • Oversee relationships with hardware vendors, CPOs, field service partners, and roaming platforms
  • Monitor real-time network performance and implement data-driven improvements
  • Own SLAs, fault resolution times, and operational KPIs across the network
  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and delivery to drive innovation
  • Develop strategic plans to expand, upgrade and future-proof the charging estate
  • Champion best-in-class customer experience across all touchpoints
  • Build and lead a high-performing network operations team

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in EV charging, utilities, or critical infrastructure networks
  • Strong understanding of EV hardware/software ecosystems and CPO platforms
  • Experience leading operational teams and managing third-party service providers
  • Data-driven, commercially minded, and customer-focused
  • Able to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels
