About Inara
At Inara, we partner with some of the most exciting companies in tech, from start-ups all the way to global giants. We enjoy nothing more than partnering with the companies reimagining how industries operate through software, infrastructure, and AI-native engineering.
We don’t do generic recruitment. We operate as strategic talent partners, embedded with founders and technical leaders to help build foundational teams, whether that’s a platform function from scratch, a DevOps team scaling cloud infra, or senior full stack engineers crafting distributed systems.
The Role
Now, we’re hiring a Technology Recruitment Consultant focused on Software, DevOps and Platform Engineering to help us meet demand across our rapidly growing customer base.
What You’ll Be Doing
- This is a 360 role: you’ll be responsible not just for delivering on searches, but for identifying, shaping, and winning new business. That means having conversations with founders, attending discovery calls, crafting outreach strategies, and helping expand our client portfolio alongside our delivery excellence.
- Delivery: You’ll lead searches for deeply technical roles across software engineering, DevOps/SRE, cloud infrastructure, and platform teams. You’ll work closely with founders, CTOs, Talent Leaders and Hiring Managers to shape requirements, and source exceptional talent.
- You’ll be hands-on, end-to-end, and outcome-driven:
- Partner with clients to deeply understand roles in backend, platform, SRE, DevOps, cloud, infra and engineering
- Write high-conversion outreach that resonates with engineers and platform specialists
- Source and engage both passive and active talent with precision
- Run structured, efficient hiring processes that uphold an excellent candidate experience
- Collaborate closely with the Inara team on strategy, positioning and delivery
- Stay ahead of market trends across infra tooling, deployment stacks, DevEx trends, and platform innovation
- Proactively identify and build relationships with early-stage and scaling tech companies in need of engineering hires
- Participate in (and eventually lead) client pitches, proposals, and long-term hiring roadmaps
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 - 5+ years of experience in technical hiring, ideally focused on software engineering, cloud, SRE, or DevOps
- You can speak credibly to full stack engineers, infra leads, and DevOps specialists
- You’ve worked in a startup, scale-up, or agency environment and know how to move fast without cutting corners
- You genuinely care about quality of candidates, of client experience, of communication
- You’re curious, switched-on, and thrive when given ownership
- Proactively identify and build relationships with scaling tech companies in need of AI / ML / data engineering hires
- Participate in (and eventually lead) discovery calls, proposals, and pitch conversations with new clients
- Work closely with leadership to help grow Inara’s client base and commercial footprint
Why Join Inara?
- You’ll work directly with startups, scale ups and/or businesses at the forefront of the new technology landscape
- You’ll get full autonomy to build your own desk, through client acquisition, events and running searches the way you know they should be done
- We’re small, sharp, and high-output, no egos, no fluff
- Competitive pay + performance-based commission up to 40%
- You will get access to some of the latest AI and Automation tools
- Hybrid working, with 2 to 3 days in the office per week
