We would love to hear from you if you are a social worker looking for a new challenge or an ambitious Student and Newly Qualified Social Worker who are in the final year of their studies or have qualified but not completed their ASYE.
We are committed to supporting qualified social workers back into practice, and to gain their professional registration. We have a package of support available to facilitate this - please see the attached Return to Practice Handbook.
There are various hours available both full time and part time which can be discussed during the interview process and we will consider requests for flexible working.

You will provide high quality social work practice, ensuring individuals have a solution focussed plan towards achieving their goals and maintaining their wellbeing. You will work creatively with individuals, local communities and our partners, empowering them to deliver the best possible outcomes for people and to create a positive Adult Social Care culture.
As a valued member of the team, you will have access to peer support, 1:1 time, supervision and ongoing training & development opportunities and to work with our partners across Social Care, Health, Housing and Voluntary Services.
We are looking for future employees who have a positive, forward-thinking attitude, using strengths-based practice with individuals which is built around their desired outcomes and goals. Our teams are imaginative, locally focused and flexible and we are searching for practitioners with a likeminded approach, working collaboratively as part of a team.
We require people with knowledge of social work practice and legislation including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005, a good understanding of personalisation, and excellent assessment and analysis skills. You will be able to demonstrate capability of practice in accordance with current professional standards, legislative and policy frameworks and you will have a high level of literacy and communication skills, both verbal and written.
