A leading global safety-equipment manufacturer is seeking a Certification & Conformance Regulatory Affairs Associate to join its Safety division. In this role, you will ensure that personal protective equipment (PPE) products meet all regional certification and regulatory requirements, partnering with cross-functional teams to bring new and existing products to market compliantly.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying the regulatory product certification requirements for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) portfolios and geographies supported.
- Preparing and submitting regulatory documentation for product certification schemes applicable to PSD’s product portfolio and maintaining documentation in division and corporate systems.
- Actively working with appropriate test labs, notified bodies and agencies to submit products for certification, accelerate the registration process and arrange manufacturing site audits as required to ensure conformance of products.
- Reviewing and approving packaging, markings and information supplied with the products to ensure compliance with appropriate European standards and regulations.
- Collaborating with business portfolio leader(s), application engineers, quality, manufacturing and other cross functional roles for the introduction of new products and management of change in existing products to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conducting regulatory assessments for new products during the commercialization process.
- Engaging with regulatory authorities, notified bodies, or agencies with any post-market follow-up activities or issues.
- Performing routine regulatory tasks for new and existing products.
- Keeping abreast of changes in all applicable standards and regulations/directives.
About You:
- Bachelor’s or higher in a scientific/engineering discipline, or diploma plus significant regulatory experience.
- Prior role in certification/conformance or regulatory affairs, ideally with PPE or related safety equipment.
- Fluent English (written and verbal).
- Familiarity with PPE standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal communication.
