The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

The main purpose of this full-time position will be to conduct inspections of food service facilities to protect public health by ensuring a safe environment, source, and preparation process of food to be served, by educating the food service community in compliance with COMAR 10.15.03. This position will also conduct inspections of camps, public use swimming pools and spas to protect health, safety, and general welfare of the public.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Determined by the Maryland Board of Environmental Health Specialists under the licensing requirements for Environmental Health Specialists.
  • Experience: None.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • At the time of hire, candidates for positions in this classification must possess a certificate of eligibility to be licensed as an Environmental Health Specialist from the Maryland Board of Environmental Health Specialists.
  • Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
