First Achieve Engineering are working exclusively with a leading engineering manufacturer who specialise in the design and build of high-performance industrial equipment. With a strong reputation and growing order book, they’re now looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their UK HQ team.
The Role: As Project Manager, you’ll lead multiple engineering projects from initial handover through to delivery – ensuring they’re completed on time, within budget, and to customer specification. You’ll coordinate internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain control over progress, cost, risk, and quality across the full lifecycle of each project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of technical/manufacturing projects.
- Monitor project performance vs contract plan and budget.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Liaise with operational and supply chain teams to ensure coordinated delivery.
- Lead contract reviews and produce regular status reports.
- Contribute to post-project ‘lessons learned’ sessions to improve future performance.
- Support bids with planning, compliance and risk analysis input.
- Ensure compliance with all customer and industry standards.
What You’ll Need:
- Degree / Higher Apprenticeship in Engineering, Project Management or equivalent.
- 5+ years’ experience in project management within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of project delivery tools, risk management and budgeting.
- Confident communicator with excellent team leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
- UK Passport holder (dual nationality accepted).
- PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ or similar – desirable.
