We are looking for an actuary (likely currently working at a consulting firm) to step into an in-house role. The role will focus on managing 2 Fellows as well as working on reserving projects for a variety of Lloyd's and London Market commercial lines business.
The role will have heavy exposure to the ExCo, including CFO and CEO. The client is seeking a qualified non-life actuary with reserving experience across any general insurance field. They are also seeking an individual able to provide clear and concise insights into reserve developments, both in writing as well as in regular in-person meetings.
The environment is very dynamic with a closely-knit team. The role will require someone to be present in the office 3 or more days a week. The role will suit individuals who enjoy working in a collegiate atmosphere, who want to learn from a highly ambitious management team and who enjoy developing younger staff. The client is not interested in anyone seeking to work remotely for extended periods of time.
Base salary in the £140k-£160k range, with a target 30% discretionary bonus. The bonus will be dependent on both individual and business performance.
