ACJ Search are supporting a Midlands based Manufacturing organization who are actively seeking a Head of Manufacturing to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on leadership role to drive a clear improvement journey in order to achieve a best in class, innovative manufacturing operation. You will have strategic and tactical responsibility for implementing the company’s manufacturing strategy and operational delivery.

We are keen to speak with people who are able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • A proven track record of transformation within a bespoke manufacturing environment and delivering improvements in cost, on-time and quality delivery.
  • Very strong knowledge and experience of fabrication, machining and assembly of close tolerance specialist products.
  • Experienced in the implementation of 5S, Lean, TQM and other applicable tools to drive lasting improvement.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Experience of metal fabrication is essential.
