We’re hiring for a Senior CAD Technician/ CAD Team Leader to take on a leadership role within a dynamic design team delivering a national rollout of EV infrastructure and retail/ commercial upgrades.
This is more than a hands-on design role - we're looking for someone who can set standards, lead from the front, and support the growth and development of a CAD team. You’ll work closely with the Design Director to manage technical output, coordinate other technicians, and ensure drawing deliverables meet high quality and compliance standards across multiple live projects.

Key Responsibilities- Oversee CAD delivery across a range of retail, commercial, and energy projects
- Review and produce high-quality CAD drawings with a focus on accuracy and detail
- Manage and support junior CAD technicians, managing workloads and setting expectations
- Work collaboratively with project leads and the Design Director to meet programme deadlines
- Coordinate design information across multiple workstreams, including retail layouts, forecourt designs, and pump arrangements
- Maintain quality assurance across CAD output, ensuring all drawings align with industry and safety standards
- Proven experience as a Senior CAD Technician within commercial or retail environments ideally
- Strong people management or team leadership experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit experience desirable (though most work is currently in AutoCAD)
- A confident communicator who can manage, motivate and support a growing team
- Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- UK-based project experience essential
- Able to commit to 3–4 days per week in the London office - remote-only applicants will not be considered
- Right to work in the UK – sponsorship is not available for this role
- Salary up to £55,000
