We currently have an exciting opportunity available as a Payment Processing Administrator to join our team working in Bournemouth. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £26,227 per annum.

About the role: As our Payment Processing Technician you will work in the Billing & Payments Team within our operational department, providing administrative support to customers in relation to payment processing, credit control and the billing of accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong administration background, with excellent communication skills to provide valuable customer support, to guide them through the billing process.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will ensure timely and accurate allocation of customer payments over several billing systems and suspense accounts.
  • You’ll be managing your own case load to ensure contact is made in a timely manner and in line with agreed service level agreements.
  • You’ll advise customers by email and telephone of payment allocation and request details and remittances.
  • You will also provide administrative support in relation to billing of accounts, credit control and payment processing.
  • You will escalate collection issues to prioritise problems/complaints to help enable prompt payments.

  • A minimum of five GCSE’s grade A-C or equivalent.
  • Evidence of excellent communication skills, both written and verbal along with listening and questioning skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent levels of customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable to change in a flexible, fast-paced working environment.
  • Evidence you are self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision with a positive can-do attitude.
