Are you passionate about working on the water and have a willingness to learn? Our Southern region On-Water Farm Operations site, located near Dover, is looking for a motivated individual to join the team in the role of Feed Trials Assistant.
The Feed Trials team conduct trials in partnership with feed suppliers to test how different feed types impact fish growth and health. As part of a close-knit team, the Feed Trials Assistant will help ensure the upkeep of trial pens and assist with broader fish health related tasks as required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintenance, cleanliness, and upkeep of trial pens and nets.
- Monitoring fish health management, ensuring welfare of the fish is maintained.
- Accurate data collection and performance tracking of trial fish, observing and reporting on feed rates, fish behaviour, performance, and environmental factors to support informed decision-making.
- Monitor and manage daily feeding schedules to align with project plans and trial requirements.
Located at Hideaway Bay near Dover, this is a fulltime opportunity working a 3 on 4 off, 4 on 3 off roster.
