Are you an experienced health & safety auditor or a health & safety professional with strong knowledge of auditing in your current or previous position? I am currently working with a large civil engineering/Utility-focused business in growing their team across the London and Home Counties region. The ideal candidate will have an ISO45001 auditing qualification; if not, another auditing qualification would be accepted, and happy to work in a hybrid position with travel across a region. Ideal locations are Central/North London, West London or the Home Counties.

The Health & Safety Auditor will be responsible for:

  • Working as part of a team with auditing sites and bringing all the findings and data together to provide solutions to site teams.
  • Producing detailed auditing reports and corrective actions based on findings.
  • Supporting the team to create a positive health & safety culture.
  • Being the go-to for internal and external contractors in providing health & safety advice.
  • Travelling to multiple sites, conducting audits and carrying out inspections.
  • Building relationships with site teams and senior leadership through coaching and mentoring.

The Health & Safety Auditor will have:

  • 3 years of experience working in health & safety.
  • Ideally held an auditing position, but would consider auditing experience.
  • Previously worked in the construction or civil engineering industry, so has site experience.
  • Hold ISO45001 lead auditor qualification; if not, a lead auditor qualification would be beneficial.
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent; would accept working toward.
  • Happy to work in a hybrid position with travel, so a driving license is required.
  • Strong communicator and problem solver approach.
