The Department of Culinary Arts & Food Service is currently looking for individuals to join our team of Lecturers in our Professional Cookery area of the Curriculum. The successful candidate(s) would contribute to the delivery across our Culinary courses, including: SCQF level 4 to Level 7.

You must be qualified to SCQF Level 7 (HNC) or an equivalent level of qualification in an appropriate field. Ideally, you will have experience in delivering and developing the Further Education curriculum and possession of a teaching qualification is desirable, however not essential. Assessor and/or verifier qualified would also be desirable for the role, however not initially essential.

We are also very keen to hear from any current Chefs or industry professionals that would like to embark upon a career as a Chef/Professional Cookery lecturer within an established and mature department.

The successful applicants may be required to deliver at any of the College's main campuses, online and/or in private company training facilities.

Candidates must be highly motivated, organised and possess excellent communication and ICT skills. Candidates must also demonstrate initiative, team working skills and digital literacy.
