About This Role
CAE, the worldwide leader in aviation training, is seeking a UK Based Maintenance Training Instructor to join our Business Aviation Maintenance Training Team. This position can be located anywhere in the UK or various countries across Europe and does require global travel.
If you are an experienced Gulfstream Instructor, specifically GIV (G4) and GV (G5), and are ready to take your career to a new level by becoming a CAE Maintenance Instructor, this role could be for you! We are also interested in talking to individuals with experience working on commercial or business jets as an instructor.
The Maintenance Training Instructor works as part of a team dedicated to the following:
- Provide aircraft maintenance training on products manufactured by the world's largest OEMs.
- Use extensive aviation maintenance experience, technical training experience, and varied computer skills (text & graphics) to develop, deliver, and maintain multi-media and computer-assisted courseware packages.
- This position is customer-facing and is focused on identifying and supporting customers’ needs and requests.
- Provides training to the customers at varied locations and manages and resolves a broad range of issues in an autonomous manner.
- Delivers aircraft system training in areas of expertise using a variety of instructional training aids in the classroom environment including the use of multimedia presentations (videos, slides, Power Point), aircraft components, and aircraft simulators.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience working on Gulfstream or instructor experience working on business jets.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in aerospace or related industry.
- Working knowledge of mechanical or avionic aircraft systems related to the area of responsibility.
- Ability to resolve customer instructional issues autonomously.
- Working knowledge in a variety of basic computer software programs.
- Being licensed on these types would be preferential, as well as time experience.
