CMA is recruiting for a Management Accountant position for a not for profit organisation in Salisbury. They have an exciting opportunity for a new person to join their dynamic finance team on a fixed term contract basis for 12 months, this requirement is for an immediate starter.
You will be an existing Management Accountant who has a detailed knowledge of processes and systems and how to make effective change to processes and accounting controls.
What will the Management Accountant role involve?
- Assessing the wider finance function activities, map and document processes and set new accounting controls;
- Meaningful insight and recommendations based on analysis of key financial information to support business decision making;
- Detailed analysis of the organisations procurement processes and recommending upgraded processes;
- Stakeholder management and presenting at senior management meetings;
- Working closely with and supporting the Senior Management Accountant and Finance Director.
Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:
- A qualified Accountant is the ideal, although part qualified can also be considered;
- Confident skillset in systems and process change and development;
- Strong system skills including Excel to an advanced level is highly beneficial;
- Not for profit sector background is advantageous although not essential.
